FFX-2 Dressphere: Gunner

The Gunner dressphere is Yuna's default dressphere in FFX-2 and is thus one of the most commonly seen dresspheres on Yuna. As soon as you get Yuna, this dressphere becomes available, but not every character can use it until after the Luca Stadium mission is completed. In fact, they actually force Yuna out of it in the middle of the mission, so be sure to change it back if you don't want to be in automatic Songstress dressphere.

This dressphere utilizes special abilities with a single pistol. The most popular is Trigger Happy, in which you can get successive hits in a limited amount of time by rapidly pushing the R1 button. It's also a very good attack to stun an enemy and keep them at bay from attacking for some time (which is pretty useful in the Active Time Battle system X-2 has). The rest are under a menu command called "Gunplay" where you can, for example, use Scatterburst to critically hit every enemy. Additionally there's no wait to use these abilities, so speed is a gunner's friend. The AP required to learn them is very minimal as well, so you can master this dressphere in say one round of beating the main game.

All-in-all, the Gunner dressphere is great to use. I personally advise keeping it on Yuna until you learn all of its abilities which are listed here:
