FFX-2 Dressphere: White Mage

Even though there aren't any definate classes in X-2 officially, I think White Mage is the one the complements Yuna the best (after Gunner and Songstress). It's also worthy enough to note that Yuna's two major classes in FFX were Summoner and White Mage. After you finish the Besaid "Hotspot" in the first chapter, the White Mage Dressphere becomes available.

As you probably suspected, those in this dressphere will be utilizing a staff and restorative magic like Cure and Esuna. You can use abilities like Pray or Vigor to heal without any MP cost, but spells like Life or Protect cost MP. The major downfall of this dressphere is, of course, that you cannot attack. Therefore, having more than one White Mage in battle at a time can be very disadvantegous. Still, I found that it can be a good hand in tough battles like the super boss on Bikanel Island, but shouldn't push off better dresspheres like Gunner or Dark Knight.

Even though the description in battle may not have seemed very convincing to make it useful, it's important to note that in the game, there are three ways to restore HP outside of battle: (1) touch a save sphere, (2) use an item, or (3) use the white mage dressphere via main menu. Thus... well you get the drift!
